We are state- and federally licensed and offer taxidermy services for all birds, including everything from quail to tundra swan. Our focus is producing high-quality mounts that allow our customers to preserve their cherished memories. We believe that by focusing exclusively on birds, we are able to provide a consistent, superior quality because it is what we do every single day. For this reason, we do not offer services for deer, other mammals, fish, or reptiles at this time.
Whether you are looking to preserve the memory of a hard-earned turkey, a brilliantly colored pheasant, or a your very first duck, our focus is on lifelike realism and exceptional craftsmanship. We understand the stories behind every harvest, and we are dedicated to creating stunning, durable pieces that fit your vision and honor the natural beauty of your trophy.
When it comes to bases and habitat the options are almost endless. While these options often take the backseat to posing options they are just important to consider because they can really elevate the look of a finished piece. We offer options of a simple ghost hanger or driftwood to pre-finished bases to full custom habitat and water scenes. Whatever your vision is we can make it come to life!

When deciding if a bird is a good candidate for taxidermy the ideal trophy is a mature, late-season bird with fully developed plumage and minimal shot damage to the head and wings. Obviously, you have to shoot a bird to mount it so there is hardly ever a "perfect" bird. However, it is very important to look your birds over when considering having it mounted. If there are large sections of missing feathers or substantial shot damage to the head, neck, and/or wings it may not be a good candidate for taxidermy or you may have to be flexible with posing options so that we can give you a mount that highlights the good parts of your bird while hiding the bad. Busted beaks and broken bones are usually not a problem but missing feathers cannot be replaced. We will NOT be accepting any early season geese.
We encourage our customers to bring multiple birds of the same species if they are able to even if all are not being mounted. We have no problem looking over the birds and choosing the best to be able to give you the best finished product.

It can be difficult to see the condition of a frozen, wet, and bloody bird when it comes into the shop. Once we are able to thaw your bird and get to work on it we will get to see the real condition of the bird. If we run into any major pin feathers (immature feathers that will impact the quality of the finished mount) feather slippage or significant damage we will contact you and talk through your options for moving forward. When choosing a taxidermist, remember that a trophy is a once-in-a-lifetime memory. While prices vary across the industry, the difference in cost often comes down to the time, detail, and advanced techniques used to ensure your bird looks lifelike and stands the test of time. Investing in quality craftsmanship means your hunt is preserved exactly as it happened, rather than settling for a rushed piece that cuts corners.
